Write for us

Grand Culture Guide welcomes thoughtful pitches and completed proposals about arts and cultural heritage. We are interested in specific questions, clear explanations and perspectives that give readers context without flattening cultural differences.

What to pitch

Propose a focused subject in art forms, traditions, cultural history, museums or cultural life. A strong pitch identifies the central question, explains why it matters to a general reader and shows what your piece would add beyond a broad overview.

What makes a strong contribution

We value precise language, sound factual grounding and a careful distinction between evidence and interpretation. Tell us the intended reader, the likely shape of the piece and the sources or expertise you would draw on. Avoid pitches that rely on sweeping cultural generalisations or unsupported claims.

How to send a proposal

Send your pitch through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short summary and any relevant context about your proposed approach. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and we will consider each submission on its merits.
